repurposing at its best...

An ode to our little red wagon.....

our beloved red wagon making a trek down Halcyon Avenue - 9/5/2004
(the day we met the Whites when we delivered some Rice Krispie treats to our neighbors!!)

September 2006

This beloved little red wagon has had many an adventure over the last decade, but it has just been parked on the side of our house for the last two years collecting dust and rust. Tamara and I were brainstorming on what we could do with it now that we do not use it for carting children around anymore. She had a great idea for us to drill holes in it and use it as a planter for some herbs. So, that's just what we did this week. Taylor Petrie and Anna got the power drill out and went to work and then planted some basil, oregano, cilantro and a cherry tomato plant. So thankful for the many memories in this little wagon and for a new season for it in now in our garden
