Kim Kredich, this is all your fault!!

This all started innocently enough on a bike ride a few years ago in Knoxville when Kim encouraged me to get the kids into music. She offered to teach Anna flute once a week that winter and spring and our "flute for food" program was set in motion where I cooked for their family once a week and she gave Anna a fabulous start to her love affair with the flute. Bartering is awesome- we both thought we each got the better end of the deal.

Tonight, I watched Anna in the CYSO (Cascade Youth Symphony Orchestra) Summer Sounds concert and I was blown away. She practiced there from 9-3 each day (with only a few short breaks in the day).  She had a flute coach who worked with one-on-one with her and only one other girl for the first part of camp, and she grew leaps and bounds this week. Listen below for this outstanding group of musicians Anna got to play with!

Kim- look what you started!! This is all your fault. :)
