At the end of this day, I give thanks for....
* a puppy I kept being surprised by when we would walk into the house
* a neighbor's generosity to let us come swim in her beautiful pool
* gardenias that grow well in a hot and humid climate that smell like heaven
* daisies that pop up every summer that just make me happy
* old friends who have known us through so many seasons
