I loved this that was posted by the Columbine United Church:
" Things you should do today . .
Turn the Television off. They’ll loop the same pictures and it does nothing more than traumatize you and freeze you in place. You know the basic information, that’s all you need for right now. Turn it off.
Devote yourself to prayer, surrounding the parents, the children, the first responders, with healing energy, they’ll need everything that you can give.
Do one healing action for someone. Send a counter ripple of compassion out into the world. Right now the Nation is gripped with fear, when we become active through compassion we send a counter wave moving through community which will allow others to focus on that which is ultimately important.
Believe that God is there right now, working in and through these circumstances.
We are only victims if we do not act. Your faith, hope and love are needed today more than any other.

We had the huge gift of being able to go to the UPC Christmas party today. We all were wowed by the way they transformed our fellowship hall into the land of Narnia! What magic and joy they brought to many today!
snowmen bricks
he Hestad's tree- gotta love a house with a tree that only has lights on the top half since the little ones kept pulling the lights off the bottom...
and this cracks me up too... one of the wise men in the Hestad's set lost his head... ahh- nativity sets in homes with small children...
