We had dinner the other night with some of the college girls I am mentoring at the house two doors down. When we went around the table to share roses and thorns, one of the girls also invited us to share a "bud"- something that we were looking forward to. It was a great addition to our conversation starter. So, we will for sure be expanding our tradition from "roses and thorns" to "roses, thorns and buds".... :)
