an afternoon adventure at Green Lake yesterday
And it's not everyday we get to see a black and white tegu
at Green Lake!!
This was a girl's pet that she had had for the last 4 years,
and she brought it to Green Lake to let him go for a swim.
I'm glad we got out before he was swimming around. :)
Anna and Taylor asked if we could get one.
The answer was a definite no- Poppy was a concern since this creature is omnivorous. :)
