With the teacher strike and the delay of our school starting on time, I told Jason last night that I feel a bit like a cruise director whose ship was supposed to finish the cruise, but we are stuck out at sea for a while longer. While the summer has been amazing, we all thought it was time to turn the corner and jump into fall. Not yet. So, here's to another day of being the cruise director. Work will just have to be squeezed in somehow. Let the games begin! :)
Taylor got to go to an unbelievable birthday party yesterday morning. His friend won an auction to go see the Sounders practice and then they all got to get some autographs after the practice. Some of the players were amazing and gave high fives to the boys and kicked the ball around with them. Taylor now has his shoes signed by some of the best soccer players around! So cool. :)
