The Petries grow grapes in their yard and they invited the kids to come over yesterday afternoon for a harvesting party. Love that we have this little urban vineyard!

and meanwhile as our endless summer continues with the ongoing teacher strike,
the kids have discovered Pinterest.... Cool art projects are cropping up all over our house!
and while the googly eyes were out, why not? :)
