After church today, we hiked up Pitcher Canyon behind the Ross' house with Tom.
It was absolutely glorious!! I'm not sure if there is a better way to celebrate a Sunday...

It only seemed appropriate that we got to see a few snakes while there this weekend too since Jodi and I used to put rubber snakes in each other's beds in college when we were roommates. (not sure how that started, but it stuck and we still have a thing about passing fake snakes back and forth.)
(These were bull snakes- not poisonous- but I was happy to just be taking the pictures and not holding them. )
