Today, we hiked over 10 miles from Lavarella Hut to Lagazuoi Hut, and it was another day with so many spectacular views. We keep pinching ourselves that we are hiking here in Italy in one of the most beautiful places in the world! And on top of that, we met a wonderful family from Portland and had so much fun hiking with them.

This whole friendship started because Julian (Jules) started talking to Taylor at our rifugio last night about mountain biking (he's an 18-year old who will be a senior in high school next fall in Portland). Our families connected as well, and we had such a great day exploring this area together!
