Day 6: Gherdenacia Hut to Badia
This was our last official day of hiking, and we went up to a viewpoint before heading back into town. Our total mileage the past 6 days was 70 miles (averaging close to 12 miles a day)! Go Team Huff!
We’ve
all depended on each other at different times to keep each other going, and
this old song “Climb on” by Shawn
Colvin came to mind for me more than once.
We are
beyond grateful for this amazingly beautiful week of hiking, for the times together,
and for the memories created here in the Dolomites.
