I was on a long run yesterday morning with Catherine, and I had to stop to take this picture when I spotted this cherry blossom starting to bloom. Tracey and I have always called these "hope trees". Giving thanks for this splash of color on a gray winter day here in the NW.
Yet this I call to mind and therefore I have hope: Because of the Lord’s great love we are not consumed, for his compassions never fail. They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness. I say to myself, “The Lord is my portion; therefore I will wait for him.
