Lisa Jo- Baker framed it well as she said that in these days of parenting she was
"unwrapping the
extraordinarily sacred ordinary"....
I am thankful for the gifts I have been given to unwrap today...
the extraordinary-
scones and croissants for breakfast at Grateful Bread with Liam
tons of rubber ducks spotted in a yard
reconnecting with James B & Renee Notkin for a brief and sweet visit this morning
a bright sunshiny day
the sacred ordinary-
taking the kids to school
going to observe a teacher for SPU at Roosevelt High School
running with Elizabeth
Grateful Bread with Liam today to celebrate his special day... (Happy 7th!)
coffee with Jerry
Flat Jeff came with us to breakfast this morning
YUM!
Anna is holding her croissant like a baby because it was HUGE -
we laughed that it was the size of a small child...
As I took Liam to school, we spotted this house that had rubber ducks all over the yard.
This was definitely worthy of a photo opp...
I asked a neighbor about this and she told me that they have done this for years.
They put out the ducks for every holiday...
Above is the rubber duck wedding in honor of Valentine's Day...
You can find them on Facebook under the Wedgewood Ducks!
Liam with the yard full of ducks...
What a fun way to start the day!!
