It's tradition...
Such fun to get out the leprechaun traps from kindergarten years and set them out last night!
Taylor's trap was in the fireplace in hopes that it would not be found, but it was knocked over by morning so the leprechauns must have checked for gold and then taken off running.
Although the kids know that I am the leprechaun in disguise, it's still fun to keep this going and hide a few treats for them to find on the morning of St. Patrick's Day. :)
sugar cereal bought once a year for St. Patrick's Day
pot of gold :)
Food should be colorful, but I don't think this is what Michael Pollan had in mind.
I love this note saved from Anna's kindergarten trap-- 3/17/09
even the legos have the spirit today
Georgia Mae came with me to unicycling at recess today and had fun watching Anna and Taylor whirl around on one wheel...
our pot of gold at the end of the day:
a meal shared with Ellen Goldring, Jason's wonderful advisor from Vanderbilt, who is in town for a couple of days for a conference....
